Bob and Cheri VanderWeide, natives of Grand Rapids, Michigan, were blessed to grow up in families where strong values, convictions, and a desire to provide help and hope to others was modeled. Today, they continue this family tradition by instilling in their five children the importance of character and personal responsibility in reaching their God-given potential.

In 1992, the VanderWeide’s established their foundation to provide support to those program areas that are close to their heart. They are constantly exploring new and creative opportunities to encourage others in their personal and spiritual development, which will ultimately determine the quality of their life both now and eternally.

Bob and Cheri also founded VW-Ventures, a business development company, which focuses on the development of world-class health clubs, health care facilities, personal care businesses, and property management.  Since 1994, Bob has served as President of the Orlando Magic NBA franchise, being actively involved in day-to-day management and strategic oversight.  Additionally, Bob and Cheri serve on numerous other boards and are very active within their community.
